once upon a time i was totally addicted to this website, and then... as the story usually goes - other areas of my life took priority to art and the result was a lengthy break from investing time in visual arts...
however...
I think in making this sacrifice, i also managed to sacrifice a bit of my sanity... as to be honest... i never feel quite right unless i have a creative outlet (that is not dictated or restrained by the almighty dollar)

*a warning to people who wish to turn their creative hobbies into a means to pay your bills.... once you allow art to become your job - it quickly starts to tax you emotionally the same way a job would.*

At current I am a full time computer musician / graphic designer... and while my last deviant art page was dedicated to my love for vector art / photo manipulation... I've decided I need a bit of a change of pace... (and an excuse to get out of the computer chair!)
so, armed with a new camera, and an itching to do ANYTHING artistic that doesn't involve listening to monotonous sounds or hours of tedious drawing with a mouse in illustrator - i have decided to start dabbling in photography a bit more.

Im quite lucky in the sense that via music... Im able to travel to lots of really interesting places around the world... if anything this will be a good excuse to better document my adventures.


so, enjoy my images! (and be gentle with me! as Im still somewhat new to the concept of taking photographs from an artistic perspective)
